Meet Boo Jackson

Hi there, I'm Boo!

 

I'm a London based actor and voice coach, with 4 years' experience teaching English, detailed English pronunciation, and accent tequnique. Having worked professionally as an actor since I was 9, and with 4 years' experience working as a PhD researcher and Teaching Affliliate at The University of Nottingham, my fascination with and detailed approach to voice and communication work has been honed and shaped in a multifaceted way.

I first put this interest in voice to professional use in 2020, when I first started providing online tuition, teaching English as a foreign language; focusing heavily on accent, pronunciation and voice.

 

I focus my approach to voice tuition around oral posture (how we hold our mouths), tongue placement and oral muscle use to aid my students in creating a vocal toolbox to easily adapt to different accents, pronunciations and vocal challenges. I tailor my approach to the individual, creating a comfortable and personalised approach to my classes.
